My Recipe Box App Reviews

Downloaded the app and when I went to use it for the first time it asked me to log in with email and password. When I did it told me password invalid, I tried several different types of password and still could not log in. I deleted the app and will look for another one

I cannot edit the ingredients after it it saved. Adding a recipe and the details could be more user friendly. I entered my first recipe 3 times before getting it to save.

I spent 10 minutes trying to register for this inconsequential app. Ten minutes Ill never get back. You know youre in trouble when theres a misspelling in the sign-up page.

A little buggy still. Needs mobile add/edit of recipes. Sorting is very slow. Should auto parse to allow comma separated recipe list instead of individual item adds. Many users want to copy and paste existing recipes. Great features: nutrition information and auto resizing of recipe on mobile app (to allow you to change number of servings). Hopefully will be updated soon.

I love this app. I signed up online and have entered about 20 recipes so far. I love being able to ad a pic too. They didnt have a few of the foods in their database yet, but they sent me emails saying they saw me trying to use the ingredients so they added them . This has only been out for a few weeks so we should give them a chance to fix the few bugs.

I thought it would be a good app but the first page is to sign in.... How I register? It keeps telling me my ID is wrong. No more time to waste on this app

Ok Ive just downloaded this app today so I am not expert yet. However it seems to be just what Ive been looking for to keep some family recipes. Forget those reviews that say its hard to register. I didnt have any problems at all Make sure you read the description. This is a companion app to the web site. You must register at the web site in order to use it. What this does is allow you to take the recipes you are storing in the cookiti web site and transfer them to your handheld device to use easily in your kitchen.

Everything is great, I just think it needs more, like ability to add recipes from the app directly instead of having to go to the site.

Fantastic App. I love the ability to obtain nutritional information. I am a Registered Dietitian and have recommeded the site to my clients. Im also a wife and mother and enjoy sharing recipes with my friends through the site. A great resourse for the home chef, especially the health conscience type.

However I have no idea how to delete recipes that I messed up on

Best app Ive found to manage my own recipes online. Love that I can share with my facebook friends and groups in one click. In the new version they added recipe entry straight from my phone with Nutrition details. I love the free cookbooks with more recipes than other tools provide. Great job Cookiti!

Good free app for storing own recipes. Like the nutrition info.

Not what I was looking for. The ingredient list is limited. Entering recipes requires too many steps and is time consuming. This makes it not worth my time and Ill be deleting the app.

How can you unlock the recipe to add information?

They keep improving this. Its a great tool to manage my recipes online. I love the nutrition cards and sharing cookbooks with my family!

Was so excited to find this app. First recipe I put in I discovered an error in one of the ingredients. There is no way to edit it. It was also tedious getting it in here. Glad it was free. Have since found a great recipe box app for just .99

Ugly and difficult to use. On the plus side it was free, so I didnt feel bad about deleting it right away.

I love the idea of this, but the app has many glitches. It also needs a more polished look. I hope it gets fixed so I can try it again.

Just downloaded this app... THANK GOD it was free! Thought it was a great idea!! Just what I was looking for. Well just added a recipe.. Almost done typing everything( a big recipe) and the app crashes and deleted everything!! So upset right now. Should have listened to the reviews before I downloaded it! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME, trust me.

There is too much going on with this app. If youre looking for a database to just to store recipes dont bother with this one.
